Physician: Neurology Cognitive Specialist for Outpatient Clinic with Renown Health in Reno/Tahoe

Renown Health, Northern Nevada's largest and only not-for-profit locally governed healthcare network, is seeking a Neurologist specializing in Memory Disorders to join our growing practice.

The ideal candidate will see patients with memory disorders, dementia, and other cognitive problems.  The position provides the opportunity to further expand the Memory Disorders Program to reach the needs of our growing patient base.

There is an opportunity to conduct clinical trials as well as teach Residents and Medical Students from The University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, as part of the practice.

The Institute of Neurosciences at Renown Health is a Joint Commission accredited Comprehensive Stroke Center and NAEC Level III accredited Epilepsy Center.

Position Details

• Outpatient schedule Monday – Friday, 8a to 5p
• Seeing patients with memory disorders.
• If desired, participate in general neurology clinic, with an opportunity to do procedures (Botox).
• Participate in clinical research trials and translational research with the UNR Graduate School of Neuroscience’s Integrative Neuroscience Institute
• Direct access to Renown Neurology’s PhD Neuropsychologist and Psychometrist
• If desired, participation in the Renown Neurocognitive Rehabilitation and Brain Health Program
